Friends and supporters of Miriam and Ed Noyes ~

Specific prayer needs

=> It is now December 6 and election results are to be announced today. Please pray for calm and safety. Ed writes,  "people generally agree that the 2006 elections were conducted in an atmosphere of transparency. But there are grave doubts about these elections. This creates the tension to which the US embassy is reacting.  They have closed the American School in Kinshasa until Thursday and restrict embassy personnel to the diplomatic quarter of downtown Kinshasa. Travel is not recommended.  People here simply pray for peace and the chance to get on with life."
=> Patricia Lazicki (volunteer soil scientist since August) is supposed to leave here on December 13.  Mission Aviation Fellowship is not flying this week (presumably because of the uncertain surrounding election reactions.)  There is a kind of informal potluck planned to see her off.  Hard to believe that time has passed so quickly. Please pray for Patricia's safe return trip to the USA.

=> If you would like to make an additional gift towards Miriam's and Ed's support, you may do so at this International Ministries website:
